Last month, Linux Academy attended Open Source Summit North America, one of the biggest Linux events of the year. Some of the highlights included keynote talks by Jim Zemlin, executive director of the Linux Foundation, and Linus Torvalds, who needs no introduction.

It was a busy few days, but events like these are incredibly important to us. Our community is what motivates us, and in the words of our lead customer support engineer, Sean Gaulin, “We’re not just teaching open source. We’re also involved in it.

There’s plenty to say about the Open Source Summit, the community, and how we’re using cloud education to change lives. Most of it has already been said, however, and a video is worth a thousand words. Or something like that…
